  2. Sinne äänestetään ylioppilaskunnan edustajistoon edaattoreita ja niitä löytyy sekä puolueellisilta että puolueettomilta listoilta. Tai teoriassa myös ihan yksityishenkilöitä siellä saattaa olla. Edustajistohan päättää sitten ylioppilaskunnan hallituksen ja ne sitten varmaan vetää sitä päivittäistä toimintaa. Teillä on varmaan täyspäiväisiä työntekijöitä kanssa. Tän tyyppistä hommaa.
  3. Joo totta ihmeessä.

  2. Nopeesti luin sen tekstin, niin ei siitä ihan hirveästi jäänyt mieleen. Ehkä sain kuvan, että jotain koulutuspoliittisia juttuja voisi olla.
  3. No kyllä mä uskon. On mulla ollut tapana kaikissa vaaleissa äänestää, niin miksi ei näissäkin.

  1. I did.
  2. You vote for representatives to the student union council, and there are both political and non-political lists — or, in theory, even independent candidates. The council then appoints the student union’s board, which probably handles the day-to-day operations. And you probably have full-time staff as well. That kind of thing.
  3. Yeah, of course I’ll vote.

Joel Vesterinen, Computer Science

  1. Yeah, I’ve heard about it.
  2. I’m shamefully unaware of most things. I’ll have to look into it.

  2. I read it quickly, so I didn’t retain much. I think I got the impression it had something to do with educational policy.
